Garden Center Guarantee

Our Guarantee vs All Others To say that no other Garden Center or Nursery and especially the Mass Merchandisers (Wal-Mart, Hechinger's etc) can't remotely compare their plant material and labor guarantees with ours is an understatement. Even those GC&N's who use a pro-rated 30-60-90 day figure in their formulas (which means it's also the customer's fault), leaves a bad taste in the mouth of a gardener-customer who is told that he or she planted or cared for the plant material in the wrong manner. And to be told by someone at one of these places who has no horticultural or gardening experience other than mowing lawns is absurd. Our guarantee is unconditional, except for Acts of Nature, and reads like this: GUARANTEE: Excluding damage by man, such as lawn mowers, weed trimmers, and other mechanical damage, we guarantee all plants to be free of disease and insect infestation when purchased from us. If for any reason, any plant or product that you purchase at our Garden Center doesn't perform to your satisfaction, simply bring it back with its original receipt and we'll give you another of equal value. Our guarantee is one (1) year from date of purchase if you install the plant material; and it is five (5) years if we install the material. The cultural advice we provide must be followed for the guarantee to remain in effect. If the plant is lost to any extreme weather or neglect, we do share your disappointment, but cannot share your loss: the guarantee is void. It somehow all comes down to buying quality plants at a reputable Garden Center or Nursery at a fair price, and passing on the junk offered by the Mass Merchandisers and less-reputable Garden Centers (you know who they are...). Just look at their dumpsters full of burned-up, diseased and non-quality plants. They throw away more than they sell! Some story that is.
