Mulch Well and Water Less Often With another draught upon us, it is very important that we mulch our gardens properly. Mulching to 2" in the spring and again in the fall will pay dividends all year long. A solid layer of quality Dark Bark Premium Mulch lets water, fertilizers and air in, and prevents the ground from drying out. Garden Center is Available for Meeting, Tours and Events If your Civic Group, Garden Club or Organization would like a cozy place to meet during this summer, fall or winter, our Garden Center is open for meetings, tours and events Monday through Saturday. Call the Garden Center Office at 1-800-828-3405 to make arrangements. We can accommodate 20 with our chairs, or up to 200 with your supply. The entire facility is on one level with easy access. The complex is also available for Weddings and other functions on a cost-per- event basis. Catering, entertainment and refreshments can be arranged, or you can provide your own. Once again, contact the Garden Center Office at 1-800-828-3405 with all inquiries and reservations. During the spring we had visits from St. John's UCC Day School, Several Girl Scout & Boy Scout Troops, and many Garden & Farm Clubs. It was a pleasure seeing everyone. www.gdnctr.com Mousepads Available If you're a computer user - and many of our customers and friends are these days - we have a beautiful ¼" thick, 8 ¾" x 7 ¾" www.gdnctr.com mousepad available at no charge with any purchase of $50 or more. Stop at the Garden Center's Front Desk and inquire. Limit one per customer per purchase. Supplies are limited and when they're gone, they're gone. In the event you haven't been to our corporate website, the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) address is right there on the pad, with our distinctive logo, so any time you're on the Net, drop by the virtual garden center and catch up on what's happening at the Garden Center. Don't forget to pet the kitty while you're there. Just rub your browser; Pickles will know it's you. |
