Flagstone & Brick Patios
There's nothing like a custom-designed and hand-built, Flagstone or Brick Patio, during the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. Whether it's used for grilling/BBQ-ing, family gatherings or just having friends and neighbors stop by to relax and share a cold lemonade, it quickly becomes a "family focal point" and meeting place for everyone important in your life.
Remember, that a properly-constructed Flagstone or Brick Patio — 6" sub-base of ¾" bluestone gravel and a 2" base of stonedust/screenings — is a hardscape "Work of Art". And our Flagstone & Brick Patios are just that. We meticulously-construct the sub-base and base to provide the proper drainage for rain and melting snow, and we warranty each sidewalk (and patio), for life. No one else, anywhere, can say that.
Sure, as with our Flagstone or Brick Walks, you can get one "done for less" — on a substandard 2" sand base — but the nightmares you'll have each Spring re-setting the bricks and flagstone will make you wish you'd "done it right, the first time". And try to get the people who built that shoddy walk (or patio) to come back and make the repairs? Not a chance. Always remember: "The sweet taste of low cost, is soon lost on the bitter taste of poor quality."

Built adjacent to an existing, but too small deck and into a previously-unusued part of the back yard, this Flagstone Patio greatly expands the growing family's "living area" by 75%.

This estate's immense "living area" Flagstone Patio, built to compliment the existing pool, features a firepit, boulder steps and hand-cut, faced, stacked stone walls.

This family's Brick Patio melds nicely with a mounded garden featuring one of their passions: collecting and displaying Japanese Maples.

A couple's Brick Patio, complimented by a Garden Stepper Path and a massive Stacked Stone Wall (under construction, right center, just out of picture), provides a wonderful setting for breakfast or dinner, overlooking the meadow and stream.

Mmmmm, what a great place to sit and have tea and croissants, in the morning.

This growing family's choice of a massive Flagstone Patio, with Garden Stepper Path and unique Water feature, will provide more-than-ample space for family activities, for many years to come. Maintenance? None for the next 500-1,000 years or so.

This Flagstone Patio is at our Garden Center & Nursery's StoneWorks Yard, just below the main parking lot, and is available to give you ideas and material choices, for your own back yard projects.

A very informal Flagstone Patio, with sitting boulders, just begs for a free-standing hammock and a volume of P.B Shelley's works.

This bird feeding/watering area also doubles as a quiet retreat, once Spring returns and the foliage is thick again.

Dominating the entire back yard, this massive Flagstone Patio and Water Garden are the true focal point of the property. It's hard to get a sense of the true scale of this project, just through a picture.

A secluded seating area around a portable fire pit, with two sitting boulders cut into the Brick Patio.

Almost finished, this portion of the massive Flagstone Patio is soon ready for the owners to move furniture and their Weber Grille into place. What a great area to have coffee in the morning.

This section of the massive Flagstone Patio is well-shaded from the heat of the day, and a nice place to take refuge from the Summer sun.
