Boulder Walls
As with all of our hardscape work, these rugged-looking, natural, stacked-boulder walls require zero maintenance, are two-steps beyond basic substantial, have plenty of "planting pockets" which any astute gardener would like to take advantage of, and will be a major point of conversation and admiration by guests and gardener friends, alike.

As you drive into the GC&N Complex, you can't help but notice the Stacked Boulder Walls on both side of the driveway. That's a massive structure and garners much attention from our visitors, as well as those merely passing by.

Here's a simple turn-around island planting bed, with a single/double-tiered Boulder Wall, defining the garden area.

Here's a concave planting garden built-into a single/double-stacked Boulder Wall, along a customer's driveway. The plant combinations are limitless, and enhance as well as soften the rugged boulders. Look at the lichens and moss on those boulders!

A simple boulder border, along a customer's driveway, plus a Stacked Stone Wall and dry stream bed, in the background. We left plenty of room for the customer's choice of perennials, bulbs and groundcovers.

Stacked Boulder retaining wall, with lots of planting pockets, ready for landscaping. This structure is in the StoneWorks Yard, just below the GC&N's parking lot. Please walk through it, when you visit, and see all of our additional hardscape work.

A two-tier, Stacked Boulder Wall defines a customer's front yard, as well as protects the house and yard's occupants from traffic on a busy two-lane county road.

Here's an ascending, Stacked Boulder Wall, along a 40°, 180ft long driveway. There were literally 500+ planting pockets available and many were filled with Spring bulbs or scores of shade perennials.

A large Boulder Wall, adjacent to the customer's swimming pool, extended the planting gardens and usable space out another 10-15ft over the slope.
