GOOD IDEAS...That don't always work.

a continuing series

Weed barrier: Plastic sheeting or woven fabric used to inhibit the growth of weeds in a planting bed. This method only works the first year. During the following years, the weeds grow above the barrier. The sheeting or fabric can prevent your trees, shrubs and plants from setting good strong roots.

Corporate Web Site. (http://www.gdnctr.com)

Visit us online with the InterNet. Our corporate Web Site offers a vast, rich area to spend hours reading articles, unusual advertisements and plenty of helpful information, plus links to other areas of interesting and useful horticultural topics. You don't have to search for anything; it's all right there.

Designed as a 3rd Generation Web Site, it's been online since January 1996 and has garnered 32 awards (http://www.gdnctr.com/awards.htm) worldwide; something no other horticulture site can match.

I suggest that you use Netscape v3.x or better and RealAudio v2.0 to view and listen to it.

You can take an automated Tour of the Garden Center & Nursery (http://www.gdnctr.com/tour1.htm) sit, relax, sip some lemonade and your Netscape browser will automatically take you to 8 pre-selected locations.

We don't solicit business or conduct transactions online, though many thousands of people wish we did and inquire. Email (mailto:js@gdnctr.com)

is available for your to use to ask me about landscape jobs, trough gardens, water gardens etc and can expect to receive a speedy reply.

You can also read what the pundits (critics) have said in the media about this Site at (http://www.gdnctr.com/reviews.htm); they're very complimentary with their praise about what they see.

There are over 200 pages in our Web Site for you to peruse; many people have spent hours and days there, and have still never finished. It's always growing; it's a work in progress.
